Service Skills Australia 'Update Motivate Educate 2008' Site

Update Educate Motivate 08 Mini SiteService Skills Australia (SSA) required a mini site for a conference they are conducting and SM2 was employed  to design, build and release the integrated Update Motivate Educate 2008 Mini Site into the recently re-launched Service Skills website.

SSA, an existing client of SM2 wanted a mini site to be integrated into their existing SM2 created site, that had a different look and feel but was accessible for editing via the same content management system. The mini site was for a conference SSA are running in February 2008 titled "Update Motivate Educate 2008".

The site utilises the existing SSA website management system (on the Joomla! open source framework) currently powering the SSA website.

Strategy

  • Enable SSA to use a fully integrated on-line system to inform registrants of the conference and access documents for the conference
  • Seamlessly integrate the mini site into the existing web site

Creative

  • Creative Design services to produce interface layout based on supplied layouts

Technology

  • Joomla! Content Management System
  • Web Development services to build the site and templates (all built upon the Joomla! Open Source framework – PHP, MySQL)
  • Training and Support services to up-skill and support SSA operational staff in the use of the site
