TAFE NSW "Skills Recognition" Project |
|
TAFE NSW North Sydney Institute found SM2 to help the project team
build, design and develop Phase 1 of the Virtual RPL (Recognition of
Prior Learning) project within a tight deadline.
The key areas of the project were custom design and development
of Skills Recognition website interface design (Development of Phase 1 was completed by the TAFE NSW development team), Flash tour, HTML Christmas Email template, HTML templates and CSS files.
The first release of a multi staged project for skillsrecognition.gov.au was launched in December 2007. This first reduced functionality version of the site provides information to encourage people to have their existing skills formally recognised via a qualification.
This is a starting point from which TAFE NSW will build and improve. Over time they will be rolling out additional information and services.
They are encouraging the site's primary audience - students and potential students - to give input to the changes they will make. Official promotion of the site will begin in early 2008.
