 Introduction
SM2 was approached by another Brisbane based creative, technical and design firm for print and web, who had developed a static HTML website for their existing client,
Citadel Resource Group. In particular the client required advice and implementation of an email marketing solution and web and email advice.
Citadel Resource Group is a minerals exploration and development company, focused on gold and
base metals in the Arabian Shield. Our vision is to build a strong,
diversified mining company with profitable operations and a sustainable
pipeline of development projects.
Solution
The firm required an email marketing solution and after researching the market found that the SM2 Email Marketing Component was most suitable; as it was flexible, adaptable and affordable.
SM2 worked in collaboration with the firm and their client, Citadel to
organise domain registration transfer, email and web hosting and
multiple named domains to redirect to the one SM2 hosted site. SM2 then
installed and configured a lite version of Joomla!, the SM2 Email
Marketing component and sign up module and created an email newsletter
template based on a supplied design by the firm.
SM2 also offered consultation of the integration of the HTML site with
Joomla!. SM2 then imported legally subscribed users to the email lists
and offered training and support to the firm to manage their new
solution.
SM2 had a previous working arrangement with the firm when SM2
assisted the firm on another project in early 2007. SM2 offered
consultation and development work for another of their client's, Metallica Minerals.
