An existing client of SM2 recommended Franchise Relationships Institute contact SM2 for their creative and technical requirements for their signature product, the Nathan Profiler online application.

Introduction

An existing client of SM2, Bonnie's Dog Obedience & Care Centre, recommended Franchise Relationships Institute contact SM2 for their creative and technical requirements for their signature product, the Nathan Profiler online application.

After a successful tender, SM2 was awarded the contract to provide consultancy services to finalise functional and creative design requirements, creative design services to produce interface layouts, create a new corporate identity for the Nathan Profiler application and provide strategic and usability services to create a usable work flow and layouts for the application for the third party developed existing application.

SM2 worked in closed collaboration with the third party developers and Franchise Relationships Institute, acting as a facilitator and providing feedback to both organisations.

Strategy

After reviewing the supplied documentation and further discussions, a brief summary of the key strategic objectives were developed:

  • Create a strong interface design to facilitate usability and take up of the tool
  • Create a strong corporate identity to enhance marketing, sales and communication activities
  • Usability Services: Review of the current application offer suggested workflows and usability suggestions to ensure the application is usable, readable and functional by the target audience.

Creative

  • Corporate Identity: create logo and corporate brand for the Nathan Profiler 
  • User Interface Designs: Creatively design interface layouts aligned to Franchise Relationships Institute values and direction and utilising the new corporate identity for Nathan Profiler.
  • PDF Reports: Create PDF template report that incorporates online design and has high level readability and usability based on data output from the application
  • HTML email template design: based on approved design deliver HTML file and images for HTML email generation
