As a major sponsor of Melanoma Patients Australia, SM2 will be attending the Magic Moments from Legends of Sport and Medicine Gala Dinner. The Gala Dinner, to be held on Friday 14 March 2008 from 7:00pm at Gianni's, Portside Wharf. This Gala Dinner includes a superb 3 course meal and beverages.
The night will feature the cream of sport and medicine including Union star Elton Flatley, AFL star Alaistair Lynch, swimming legend Julie MacDonald and cricket supremo Carl Rackeman as well as medical heavyweights Professor Michael Goode, Dr John Herron & Professor David Thiele (who is an ex-Olympian as well as current CEO of the PA Hospital). Hosted by 4MMM's Greg & Marto Martin, the night will celebrate the ongoing achievements of Melanoma Patients Australia, a new not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Australians diagnosed with Melanoma. We will also be highlighting the life of Brisbane boy, Brent Grace, co founder of MPA who lost his battle with the disease on 9th June 2007. This night is dedicated to him. His parents, Brian & Kerry Grace, along with the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency Quentin Bryce, invite you to attend the evening and let Queenslanders know about MPA and how it could help them.
