Lorna Jane started designing gym wear on the top floor of a Brisbane fitness centre, 17 years ago when working as a part-time aerobics instructor. Lorna was looking for active wear that was functional and fashionable and most importantly, made her feel good. The participants in her classes started to notice her designs and began requesting outfits for themselves and it resulted in a profitable small business which grew to its size today.The Lorna Jane company has certainly come along way since then. Lorna Jane is now a multi-million dollar fitness inspired clothing brand that includes active wear, yoga, lifestyle, swimwear, intimates and accessories. They have signature stores in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore with new stores opening every month.
The intranet will provide many advantage and benefits to the Lorna Jane organisation. Such as increased productivity, reduce employees being deluged by emails, have access to latest information, corporate knowledge to be maintained and easily accessed, developing and deploying applications to support business operations and decisions across the internet worked enterprise, cost-effective, promote common corporate culture and enhance collaboration. SM2 has recently secured Lorna Jane for the development of their
Intranet. Lorna Jane is an Australian manufacturer of activewear and
swimwear.
SM2 was commissioned to create an intranet. The intranet will be part of private computer network that securely shares the Lorna Jane information with its employees in all of its stores worldwide. The intranet will be used to contact details, shop policies, HR documentation, sales policies, visual merchandising information and more.
