Run entirely by volunteers, the BAD Club is committed to fostering creativity throughout Queensland. Events throughout the year endeavour to spread information, showcase new techniques, unearth hidden talents and build strong industry relationships. Every year the BAD Club holds the premier function in the state advertising and design industry, the BAD Awards. BAD is a Club for creative individuals. Our members strive for the new, the original and the unexpected. However, creativity is a character trait, not a job description. The creative people who attend and benefit from the club come from all spheres of the advertising industry. BAD has an extensive membership with producers, account managers and media professionals contributing to a creative community alongside art directors, copywriters, directors, editors, illustrators and designers.

Founded in 1974, the Brisbane Advertising and Design (BAD) Club
represents almost 300 advertising and design professionals working
anywhere from leading multinational firms to boutique creative
hot-shops.
