Introduction

Starfire Solutions assists individuals and organisations to realise their desires to make regional communities even greater places to work and live.

Strategy 

 

After in depth discussions with the Starfire Solutions board, SM2 assessed the key strategic objectives as follows:

  • Create a strong web brand to enhance current marketing activities
  • Empower the business to simply manage and update its website and on-line activities
  • Gain new capabilities through the operation of Starfire Solutions’s website

Technology

SM2’s Joomla! based website management solution was installed by SM2 during the initial launch stage of the website earlier this year.  SM2 then built upon that platform to activate on-line business tools and to enhance the overall look and feel of the site.  SM2 provided focus on both presentation (look and feel) and functionality (visitor’s experience and Starfire Solutions’s ability to self manage and gain efficiencies) to maximise the investment in the web solution.

As part of the solution SM2 utilised the following features:

  • Document Management: Configure and activate the Document Management component for use as a project status and file storage facility
  • SM2 Client Management: Configure and activate the Client Management to capture data about Starfire Solutions clients
  • SM2 Email Marketing: Configure and activate the eNews Communication component to enable targeted and branded distribution of enewsletters to the client base

Creative

  • SM2 designed and coded a Flash animated  page header for use on each web page
  • Design enhanced website layout aligned to existing Starfire Solutions corporate identity and utilising required off-line Starfire Solutions marketing elements
  • Create Starfire branded eNews template for emailing to targeted client base

Congratulations to Starfire Solutions for the relaunch and redesign of their new site.

Note: This project has since been redevoloped by another supplier since this article was written.
