Moreton Hire is an Australian wide company that tailors events, functions and exhibitions to their clients’ specific needs, as well as providing ongoing assistance while the event is in progress.

The previous site for Moreton Hire was designed back in 2006 and was in need for a design refresh. The site had grown organically over time and the site had become difficult to navigate and not user friendly for all customers. 

SM2 consulted with Moreton Hire to finalise their web site requirements and assisted formulating a plan for the updated website to provide Moreton Hire with a detailed and cost effective site upgrade. In conjunction with Moreton Hire, SM2 identified the overall goals of the web site rebuild goals including the message, audience, content, look and feel and functionality.  

The brand and business position had changed since the initial site build back in 2006, so a new design was created to reflect Moreton's position as market leader in their industry and reflect the updated brand.

A key requirement to engage and inspire users on the site was extensive use of Moreton's large library of professional photography.

The new site features extensive use of these images, is rich with suitable and relevant content, the navigation has been improved and removed any internal marketing terminology so that visitors can find specific content more quickly.

The site was built and delivered within a very short time frame of less than a month with the majority of the project spent refining and consulting with Moreton on the desired look and feel of the site in the image conscious event and exhibition arena.

The new site had received a lot of positive feedback from consumers and internal Moreton staff within the first 30 minutes of the site launch.
