The Recreation Training Queensland RTQ Careers Portal is targeted at School leavers and contains all kinds of information on jobs and careers in Fitness, Sport and Recreation. The Recreation Training Queensland are a workforce development advisory body serving the Queensland fitness, sport and recreation industry.

The portal is used as a information portal and RTQ staff have scoured the web and consolidated the best resources on how to kick-start a career in Fitness, Sport and Recreation industry. 

SM2 consulted with Recreation Training Queensland to finalise their web site requirements. SM2 provided consultancy services to finalise functional and creative design requirements, creative design services to create a distinct portal look and feel.

In conjunction with Recreation Training Queensland, SM2 identified the overall goals of the web site build goals including the message, audience, content, look and feel and functionality. A design was created to reflect the RTQ Careers Portal as first port of call for young school leavers who are attracted to the  Fitness, Sport and Recreation industry and reflect a youth brand.

The site was built and delivered within a very short time frame of less than a month with the majority of the project spent refining and consulting with Recreation Training Queensland on the desired look and feel of the site to appeal to the younger audience.
